A family of lightweight insulation bricks

The supplied catalog describes FJM insulating firebricks made from refractory powders, formed by casting, extrusion or foaming, then fired, ground to dimensions and packed.

The family is presented through standard bricks, arches, larger blocks and shaped components. This page keeps those catalog descriptions separate from current production ownership, availability or order commitments.

  • Material behavior is grade-dependent; the family name alone is not a specification.
  • Drawings and dimensions are part of the inquiry, not inferred from a reference photograph.

What the catalog describes

The source groups the product characteristics around thermal conductivity, heat storage, linear change, purity, strength and dimensional accuracy. These are source descriptions to check against a current grade-specific TDS.

Thermal behavior

Low thermal conductivity and low heat storage are described in the catalog; no project-specific energy saving is claimed.

Dimensional control

Ground dimensions and straight, arch, block or custom shapes are described; actual tolerances must be agreed.

Composition and purity

Iron, alkali and other chemistry data vary by grade; source values are reproduced below rather than generalized across the family.

Mechanical and thermal stability

Strength and permanent linear change are separate material-selection questions. Current design limits are not established by a catalog image.

Read the grades as distinct options

Catalog B distinguishes FJM23L, FJM23, FJM25, FJM26L, FJM26, FJM26-60 and FJM26H, followed by FJM28, FJM30, FJM30S and FJM32.

Its descriptions position FJM25 between grades 23 and 26, FJM26-60 as a higher-alumina specialty option, FJM26H for a hanging-roof context, and FJM30S for a hot-blast-stove context. These source descriptions do not approve a grade for your operating conditions.

  • Confirm the exact grade suffix; FJM26, FJM26L, FJM26-60 and FJM26H are not interchangeable names.
  • Classification temperatures below retain the source label. They are not a confirmed continuous operating limit for a proposed installation.

Application context and limits

The block section of the supplied catalog names glass-furnace sidewall and bottom insulation, port insulation and tin-bath roof insulation. It also lists ceramic roller, tunnel and pusher kilns and other industrial furnaces.

That block-family reference must not be treated as proof that every FJM grade or shape is suitable for every listed position. Temperature, atmosphere, cycling, load, joint design and drawing requirements still need project-specific confirmation.

Historical catalog data — side by side

Historical catalog reference only. These are supplied-catalog values, not a current specification, test certificate or contractual guarantee. The two catalogs have not been ranked by filename or assumed date.

The grade suffixes, units, test-temperature rows and em dashes are retained. An em dash means the source provides no value; it does not mean zero.

The user approved parallel historical reference for this draft. No value has been silently selected as the current approved specification.

Inspection and supporting evidence

The company process notes call for confirming the specification basis and discussing pre-shipment evidence: product and packing photos, labels, dimensional or appearance checks, loading photos and document lists.

These notes describe a discussion framework. A current batch report, certificate holder or test result for a future order is not present in the supplied package.

IFB pallet packing and loading references

The supplied IFB packing document describes the following eight protection stages. It allows the packing method to be adjusted to the customer’s request; the final arrangement must match the order.

The quantity workbook gives reference counts for a 1160 × 1100 mm pallet with height below 1100 mm. The packing PDF lists 20 pallets per 20GP and 40 per 40GP, subject to container maximum-weight restrictions. These references do not confirm the loading quantity or gross weight for a particular order.

The source storage note says outdoor storage should be covered and stacking is limited to four levels. Confirm the actual load, pallet condition and storage/handling requirements before using a stacking arrangement.

Questions to settle before an order

Which catalog value should be used for a purchase specification?

Neither is automatically the current approved value. The supplied catalogs differ. Confirm the current grade-specific TDS and agreed test conditions before ordering.

Does the image identify a particular FJM grade?

No. It is a family-level catalog reference image. Exact grade and shape must be specified separately.

Are samples, MOQ and lead time confirmed?

No. State the material, quantity, drawing and destination in the inquiry. The current commercial and sample conditions remain pending.

Where are the certificates or real customer results?

No product-specific current certificate or authorized public customer result is supplied for this representative. Those items remain explicitly pending.
